LETTINGS NEWS:- Good news for landlords as south west rents top league table
One of the most authoritative rental market barometers shows the south west region outperforming the rest of England and Wales in terms of rent rises. The index – compiled by a national chain of agents analysing 20,000 properties in the lettings sector – shows that:
- south west rents grew 4.3% on average in the past year;
- this was higher than any other region, including London;
- the average across England and Wales is just 2.1%.
