SALES NEWS: Asking prices increase across the south west

15/04/16

Rightmove says asking prices of homes across the south west region have increased by an average of 6.0 per cent in the past 12 months – taking the typical property to £284,736.

A year ago the average price was £268,580.

The property portal – the biggest in the UK, and one of two used by East of Exe to publicise clients’ homes on sale and to let – says there has been a small increase in supply of homes on the market since the New Year.

However, it confirms that most parts of the south west continue to see more buyers than homes available and it expects to see further modest rises in prices this spring and summer as a result.
