A new survey gets to the bottom of how sellers actually decide which agent should sell their home – and why. Property website Zoopla asked 1,000 owners with homes on the market, for details about how they prepared to sell. The figures show:
When owners were asked how they found the agent that sold their previous property, a third said they had used them before; this rose to about a half when it included recommendations from family and friends.
